Pull Up

If she had come?

The door would have opened

To more than just her

I’d have pulled her in

Like breath after drowning

Kissed the night off her skin

And let her unbutton the silence

With fingers that know

How to speak without words

We do this different

We do this different

greens in the blender

fire in the pen

sweat on the mat

Silence when needed

No chasing the world.

Just becoming it.

You sing your truth,

I write mine

We speak in rhythm

not routine

No one’s waiting for permission here

We build the peace we live in

We heal because we want to,

not because we broke

So if we meet in the middle,

it’s not to fix or prove

It’s to flow

to create

to feel alive

while still whole
