Author: PoetessLaureate

I am a writer, counselor, and student of human behavior with a particular fascination for the unseen forces that organize our lives. My work combines psychology, field theory, complexity theory, attachment, and personal reflection to explore how people become who they are, how they change, and how they become entangled in one another’s stories. Psychological Cartography is my ongoing effort to map the terrain of the mind and the relational fields we inhabit. Through essays, poetry, and original concepts, I explore topics such as emotional contagion, projective identification, identity formation, social influence, and the hidden architectures of human connection. This is a place for curiosity, reflection, and the search for deeper coherence.

More than in the pockets of my mind

I want you sooo bad..

I can taste you on my lips.

It is a wonder.. you are not here,

To calm my nerves,

Relieve my fears.

So I just picture you here.

Yet sometimes I miss that physical thing…

Only reality can ultimately bring.

I swear I feel you sometimes..

More than in the pockets of my mind.

I feel your presence.

I feel your touch.

I have been longing for, so much.

~~ Visualize ~~

We are back to back sitting on a bench in a park.

There is dead silence..

Cold air.

We cannot look,

Only feel each other through the beat of our hearts and the heat of our bodies.

No eyes venture,

No touching..

Just words.

Feeling our heartbeats thumping…

Do you hear the texture of my jacket in the running wind?

Can you feel my hair on the back of your neck?

I feel like we are two trees in a forest…

Leaves cascading in the wind.

Natural and free, branches extended and roots gnarled together.

Gasping in the wind.

The scent of flowers and the sunlight radiant.

We sit back to back,

Pondering one another.

See how I pursue

I am addicted now

Cannot simply stop.. no how

I am obsessive, constantly, second guessing myself pondering you

A repetitive loop

I find myself back where I started

The adoration is true

You see how I pursue?

.. in this moment in time

A state of nirvana I am drifting in..

In this dazzling moment.. that we dwell within

Within space and time

We stand face to face .. could it be that you are mine?

Hands interlocked I feel the resonance, your presence resounding touching me deeply, penetrating to the depths

I wish to prolong this moment of bliss and I missed you before I even met you

How then, could I now forget you?
