Author: PoetessLaureate

I am a writer, counselor, and student of human behavior with a particular fascination for the unseen forces that organize our lives. My work combines psychology, field theory, complexity theory, attachment, and personal reflection to explore how people become who they are, how they change, and how they become entangled in one another’s stories. Psychological Cartography is my ongoing effort to map the terrain of the mind and the relational fields we inhabit. Through essays, poetry, and original concepts, I explore topics such as emotional contagion, projective identification, identity formation, social influence, and the hidden architectures of human connection. This is a place for curiosity, reflection, and the search for deeper coherence.

The loss in loving you

Broken heartYou did not lie… but you never told me.

The way you hold me had me fooled.

How was I to know?

Did you share these sentiments with every <ho ho ho>?

I am shaking my head cuz I just don’t know.

No need to worry you tell me,

No need to stress you see… sweet words echo into my ears extinguishing all fears.

I am caught in a tangled web,

I am being enveloped by you.

I am sighing..

Crying…

Dieing.

For the loss in loving you.

It could never be enough…

I am insatiable!

With desire like no other!

… you will soon come to find.

Excessive amounts could not satisfy the craving knawing away at me.

Over-consumption ultimately…

with no substance seemingly able to curb the RAVING BEAST in me.

Warm & Fuzzy feelings

Sleeping half-moonWhat in the world is disrupting my equilibrium!?

A cannon ball soaring through corridors and bursting open doors!

Who lit the match?

Am I to blame?

And whoooooo will out this flame?

Warm & fuzzy feelings over the anger is gone.

Inside a husk, an empty shell… and wishes to be well.
