Breaking my self down

No reason to shy away from the reality

I have to look inward

I must see

no more delusions

no more cognitive dissonance

no more false imagery

no more unconscious existence

Stepping into the light as a conscious being

I laugh at my resilience!

At my willingness to try

You see…

I am not dead inside

There still lights a spark in me

Apparently…

I am not some hardened shell that cannot bend or breathe

I am a tangible, emotional, human being
