The mirror is not good or bad, it’s simply neutral.
No harm in staying for bit, or being flattered by the reflection. But you don’t stay there. You don’t live in it and let it consume you.
Remember the difference between the puppet and the puppeteer.

That’s the kind of chemistry that builds a true connection, not one based in fantasy.
A clean disappearance without defensiveness.
Impact without seduction.
Power without posture.
No justification and no looking back. I withdraw the self, leaving altered perception behind.
A disciplined choice.
Why should I be scared to step out at night? I’m grown. I can handle myself. I got the shank and the taser. ☠️
