I am numb to fact

See, I cannot react

I cannot feel it

Cannot think it

Could not hear it if anyone said it

Yet no one really ever knew..

I feel shallow

I seem unable to delve to the depths

I was relentless in my quest to forget

I could not grasp the memory

To bring the thoughts

Back to you

I refused! to acknowledge what I knew

It is like a repeated loop in my mind

And I cannot unwind thinking of you has me so high strung

Yet tranquil and serene.. enveloped in daydreams

Of what happened between

That space and time where we intertwined

And became one for a  moment

How it fogs my mind
