Perpetual Paradise

Looking deep into your eyes

Invisible translucent magnets entrapped

A brief trance/ stance then… collapse

It could not be reality by the laws of oldest that may be

The landscape has changed irrevokably

Let us stand on the battlements to scourge the land

Having full view to lay down God‘s hand

So we may live in a better land… perpetually.

More than lust

More than just our bodies in constant flux

“It” was more as “Us”

After all, as individuals we were not much

Yet this whirlwind came through

Upending all our familiar surroundings

Leaving them askew

Does it feel like I’m melting into you?

Does it feel like deja vu?

This bond transcends the physical plane and catapults (2) hearts into the highest dimension of spiritual bliss.

They stop and stare

When we are together there is a veil of unreality in the air

Floating, dreamy… the lack of care

Did we experience another dimension?

Were we ever really here?

I could not say as our eyes locked and we dove into each others souls without a care in the world

My body misses you

Here again I cannot sleep

This lovelorn illness has me weak

My stomach in knots

My heart racing

My  thoughts in a spin of feverish pacing

The sound of doom echoes in my broken heart

Will this nightmare ever depart?
