Author: PoetessLaureate

I am a writer, counselor, and student of human behavior with a particular fascination for the unseen forces that organize our lives. My work combines psychology, field theory, complexity theory, attachment, and personal reflection to explore how people become who they are, how they change, and how they become entangled in one another’s stories. Psychological Cartography is my ongoing effort to map the terrain of the mind and the relational fields we inhabit. Through essays, poetry, and original concepts, I explore topics such as emotional contagion, projective identification, identity formation, social influence, and the hidden architectures of human connection. This is a place for curiosity, reflection, and the search for deeper coherence.

No heart to mend this threadbare garment

Wilted roseDisenchanted, no bluff.

Great hopes were a mere reverie.

An imagination,

I could never see.

In this bleak reality I uphold…

Once on a pedestal,

Now old and worn.

Once adored, beloved..

Now scorned…

Forlorn.

Equip the armaments~

Yet let no battle take hold.

The spell is broken.. and the contrast resounding bold.

This Chemistry

AirplaneI am charged up!

I am revved up!

…and curious.

Energy ignited by the exchange we shared.

I would like to know more.

Yet I fumble for word placement,

Seemingly out of my element when I implore.

Testing the waters… unsure.

The "Spark" however… cannot be denied.

Unmistakable.

Overpowering… chemistry.

This unseen force adjusting our gravity,

Pulling us together…

This is captivating me.

Music inspires me

Someone asked  me the other day… What inspires you to write? I thought on it for a moment and could not definitively identify a main source for my inspiration. I felt I do not necessarily become inspired but instead excavate an interesting thought and build on it in written word. So I suppose I felt I was inwardly inspired more so than outwardly. I do spend a lot of time alone. My introspective nature always finds me searching for answers and the questions that are asked can be such fun to explore! Ya da ya da ya da and all that good stuff… turns out this was not exactly true. How could I forget? Maybe I needed a tune to remind me how much emotion music can evoke?

Music inspires me!Note

Not just my writing but my life! Music is so powerful. I had to be reminded this morning  during the morning routine, I heard a melody and it got my thoughts churning. I felt like something was on the tip of my tongue, but instead of my tongue I would mean my mind. Like a lost memory trying to materialize and come back!  That little tune evoked such emotion in me! I actually stopped what I was doing (Brushing my hurrr) and listened and felt something I can not really describe or articulate, nostalgia? Or something like it? In any case it moved me.

So yes I completely forgot about it at the time, but indeed music does inspire me intensely. All types of music in all kinds of different ways.

Peace.

The formality is over

Light bulbMy apprehension was warranted it seems.

An incorrigible situation we have now found ourselves in.

There will be another chance to win.

Just not here, not today.

Revelations brought to light are glaring!

Blatant!

No choice but to move on.

Though nothing is truly wrong as there remains equilibrium after all.

Though I feel full to the rim with problems…

It is mainly, mostly, imagined.

Paranoia kicking in because I had a hunch which manifested into reality.

The formality is through… would not we rather it be?

Basically I’m screwed now…

My back is to the wall now…

My heart  (Red heart) is in your hand now.

Please watch what you do now…

For I am crazy about you now.

Yet disappointment I seem sure to find,

In the pockets of my mind.

I am so into you now…

Basically,

I’m screwed now. Eye-rolling
