Expiration Time

As was to be expected

Things reached a feverish pitch

…and then that was it

The boiling point was reached and burned us a bit

Until we were truly over it

No holding on anymore

We have exhausted our limit

Our expiration seemed due but I did not see it

Please look in the mirror

Now that the fog is clearing in the bleak landscape of my mind

I see purpose emerging

Thoughts become clear and more defined

As unfair as this may seem

I must this once think logically

As ridiculous as I may be upon occasion

I have never lacked the sense to be self aware

Yet to forge the path to get there..

There is such fear in me to see the reality

The difficulty would be in first looking in the mirror to face… me

Theme of Destruction

I am hurting as you are deserting me

I deserve this honestly

For all the things I could not be

The Happy-Go-Lucky

Ever hanging precariously

Dangling carelessly on the edge, you see

Is like second nature for me

There will be no excuse

No plea

I understand your displeasure.. but why I am pleased with the comforting theme of destruction?

Blasphemy

My soul burns

The thought I cannot take

Could it be that I am forsaken?

Unable to grasp the obvious signs put forth before me

I simply do not want to see

It hurts

My heart is bleeding out for the world to see

Yet I do not accept it

I just cannot let it be

Rebuke it as a blasphemy

Yet it is destroying me

Perpetual Paradise

Looking deep into your eyes

Invisible translucent magnets entrapped

A brief trance/ stance then… collapse

It could not be reality by the laws of oldest that may be

The landscape has changed irrevokably

Let us stand on the battlements to scourge the land

Having full view to lay down God‘s hand

So we may live in a better land… perpetually.
