Author: PoetessLaureate

I am a writer, counselor, and student of human behavior with a particular fascination for the unseen forces that organize our lives. My work combines psychology, field theory, complexity theory, attachment, and personal reflection to explore how people become who they are, how they change, and how they become entangled in one another’s stories. Psychological Cartography is my ongoing effort to map the terrain of the mind and the relational fields we inhabit. Through essays, poetry, and original concepts, I explore topics such as emotional contagion, projective identification, identity formation, social influence, and the hidden architectures of human connection. This is a place for curiosity, reflection, and the search for deeper coherence.

comforting me

some things fizzle out before they start

i had my doubts

yet marched forward begrudgingly

forcibly torturing my sensibilities

knowing better though behaving robotically

compulsive monotony

comforting me

unravelling all senses

all the fun was in the pursuit

now let us regroup and think on it

could only be so magical for a moment

the sparkle and shine dulled the more time was spent

all the feverish light-headedness

so intoxicating the bliss

yet we surely flow amiss

and alas

we are left with this

I do have feelings after all..

Brings to life my rotten core

Devours my marble stature

Leaves me yearning

Wanting more

Such a delicacy for me to indulge

and I implore..

“Would I be a heathen, to ask for more.. and more.. and more?”

The anticipation has me  knocking at deaths door!

i miss you

you, so far away

and i miss you more and more everyday

i need you the affection and care

i miss the times we shared

i only hope you think of me too

and how i wish i could see you

yet distance separates and time does not go back

i can only treasure the past that i now lack

will i ever see you face to face?

i long for the warmth of your embrace

just for a kiss

you tell me

what i need to do

to get closer to you?

true

i am a recluse

with the communication skills of a neanderthal

and yet still.. i fall

So there is hope for me after all

it is quite intriguing the way i am dwelling on this

letting my reason flow amiss

just for a kiss
