So my sister and I were discussing the cruelty of the fast paced big city today and we pondered the truth behind it all. THE BIG CITY ATTITUDE.
Some are using the recession as an excuse of sorts, as this kind of thing has the ability to leave folks down trodden and many unconsciously project this feeling outward without realizing it. Everything is communicated whether we believe it or not. Are we tuned in to these communications would be the question? I say most of us react without a second thought as to why.. this implies we are behaving roboticallly/ unconsciously acting off of the constant poison fed intraveneously to all us through the TV and all forms of media matter of fact.
Anyway that was a helluva tangent… which leads to yet another tangent I just thought of…
Summer is ending (it was a good one by the way), and here comes Fall and Winter. Which led me to thoughts of the time change and time difference making the daylight shorter in duration and darkness longer.. stronger
Which led me to thoughts of Seasonal affective disorder… a psychological ailment that tends to increase around this time of year. Seasonal affective disorder in short is a mood disorder triggered by Fall & Winter (or the extended periods of darkness or both). It is very interesting as I watch so many around me in an ever increasing state of anxiety and depression. Click the link to see more about this mood disorder in detail.
So yeah, maybe its not the recession or living in a big city, maybe we got some mood disorders to throw into the melting pot of emotions.
